8 secrets of success

The 8 secrets of success according to Richard St John are the followings:

The first is PASSION:
Richard says that we should do things for LOVE and not for MONEY. We should prefer love to money.
When we work, it is better if we have a real conviction and if we do this work because we love it and not about the salary.
The second is the WORK
A person who wants success had to much work and have fun too !
The third is to be GOOD
We should to be good with people.
Then, there is FOCUS
We should to do with focusing yourself to one thing.
Then PUSH
"Push yoursel. Physically, mentally, you gotta push, push, push" says David Gallo (marine scientist).
We should push our shyness, our self-doubt.
 Then SERVE
It is a privilege, it is benefic for us because after we have some gratuitude from people, we are loved !
 Then IDEAS
We should have ideas, we should listen, observe, be curious, ask questions ... We should to be creative, create things with out mind.
And the last is to PERSIST
Joe Kraus a co-founder says: "Persistence is the number one reason for our succes". We don't give up !

For me, the best of these secrets is to be good.
If we stay upright, if we make things with conviction
and with love, we success. To be good is really important
for me, it is to be respectful, it is don't have bad thoughts.
We should more look at the positive to be good.
We will be more happy and it will be more pleasant to live together.

How art gives shape to cultural change

1.
The work wich I choose is in 9.44. It represents a black man who have a mark on his head: it is the Nike's mark. We don't see the face of the man, just his gallant. It is like a scar in her head. As if the mark had appropriated the black man, the human. It is her object, her produce.

There are many stereotyps about black people like Black men are
sporting especially in athletism. So, many advertisings use it to sell their products.
It is shocking ! We are supposed to know the history and so to know the history of the colonization. This picture reproduce the same. Nike use a stereotyp top make monney, theyexploit people for their business, it is just not human to treat people like that and not to consider them.

I like this picture because it is pertinent. The mark is almost invisible as if it was normal, as if it was integrated into the crane of the black man.

2.
According to Thelma Golden, work is a representation, a mean to talk. To talk about the power, about the society, about people, about black people, about the history especially. Work represent many interrogations about the society and about a possible changement. It is a good expression's mean. Art can change the vision that we have. Art allows to open our minds on the world, on our world !
Artists have a voice, say something, with art we can listen this voice. For Thelma Golden, Museum is a  important place in the society to protest, it is a space of exposition to talk. It is a place where we are confronted with the reality. For her, museum is place to ask questions and to find some answers. This place encourage the dialogue, conversations between people. So, this is a place allows to change and plays an important role in a society.

3.
Thelma Golden says:

“Think about artists, not as content providers,.... but again as real catalysts (for change).” .

I agree with this sentence. Artists want to share their vision of the world.
They want to explain, to show their ideas. They are catalysts because they encourage dialogue beetween people and it is really important because people don't enough ! Sometimes because they are afraid, because they don't dare, because they d'ont want ! And artists are here to provocate
this dialogue, to show that people can speak ! It is their right: expression's right: people should'n't forget that and artists are here to remember that and to encourage to think, to consider, to change !

Change

Liza Donnelly want to speak about the position of women in the society. Women are
confronted with many rules and traditions. These is customs which differentiate women and men in a very uneven way for women.
Liza Donnely want to show that we can change that, we can evolue with humor. She show us her humor, her drawings. With these, she represents many absurd situations.
Her first design represents moment "where it all begins" and we can see babies:  girls on one side ... in pink and boys on the other side ... in blue ! As if colors were determined for every sex !

People are locked into compartments, formated since they were born since their first shout.
I agree with Liza Donnelly. They are to many absurd rules wich formate people.
Women are the main victims of these nonsenses and these disparities.
When we are child: it's barbie for girls and action man for boys, it is false vacuum cleaners for girls and games of mechanics for boys.

And if we exchanged the roles? And if we shared the roles especially? It will be funny !
We are formated for many things and we are not even conscious of it and that's right which is dangerous.

So art, here, humor play a important and relevant role for the evolution of the humanity.
With her art, Liza Donnelly give her voice. When we can make things, when we can make art,
I think is important to use it to try to change somethings. An artist has a lot of influence, it is considerable.
Liza Donnelly use humor and I think it is a good mean because and it allows to dedramatize and do not to frighten people. Humor hails people, interest their. Humor can help conscience to realize and to understand the reality of the society.

I agree with Liza Donnelly when she says that the sense of humor changes according to one's culture because countries are not the same history, Each have evoluted according to her histyory and have create values and traditions. We dont' eat similar, we don't speak the same language, we don't laugh for same things !
But I don't think it is a really barrier, we can exceed these differences and even use it to build together !
We are all humans above all !

LOVE CHARM

This video talking about the "love charm" using a cell phone.

If you love someone, you can take a photo of him or her and if you use this picture as the wallpaper on your cell phone and no one finds out about it for 3 weeks you'll attain your love.

On one side I don't believe in that, like other students who wrotte an article about that It looks like a chain. When I received chains, I deleted them at once. I did not find that interesting.
On the other hand, when I was a child, I believe in certain things, in the "love charm" maybe !
We agree to say when we were children, we had many dreams in particular with love. We watched cartoons, series ...
It showed us a precise diagram of love, an ideal love.

We did'n't know that in reality, around us, It was the disorder, the "love disorder" ! We lived in a beautiful world, we live in our world ...
Today, I lost some dreams, it's true. But I can't say that I lived in a totally different world.
I agree with the idea which there is a great deal of differences between adults and children. But who is right?!

When we grow up, are we obliged to lose a part of us? We can't keep this child's part in us? I think we can. I think it is very important because if we have so many difficultes today, by being grow-up, it is maybe that we are not in the good way, that we forgot some things ...
I think we create many of our problems, we complicate things.

When we were children, we believed in a better world and in love, we should not forget our dreams and our convictions.

Annabelle

Never Give Up !

Liu Wei is a Pekinese pianist. He is 23 years old.

He has participated in a brodcast: "China's Got Talent" and he has a particularity:
he play with foot ! He is amputated by the two arms after an accident. He has electrocuted when he was 10.
He stayed 45 days between life and die. It is a lesson of life for him, he did'n't want to give up.

He decided to continue, to fight and to persevere. He had two options: "The first is to give up his dreams and to die. And the other is to fight without arms to live an incredible history.", it is what he said.

His dream is to become a music producer.

For him, to surpass limits was and is possible.

Favorite Places

I'll try to make a presentation of my favorites places in Grenoble:

If you want to eat I can recommend to you "Le Régional". It is a restaurant very simple with an family atmosphere. Dishes are excellent but especially very big ! It is not expense and we are received with the smile !
There is too "Les Bas-Côtés". It is more different, it is alternatif. I explain you: it is at the same time a canteen, a grocer's shop and a bookshop. It is based on the self-management. They don't want to make profit, just to share.
If you want to buy good fruits and vegetables, you can ! It is small producers who live around to Grenoble who make that.

Moreover, what I like very much it is to make the market in streets or places ! It is very pleasant to buy good products
and to discuss with the producers.

I like listen music. I go to The "Bobine". It is a place where you can drink, eat, listening music,
play music (they are studios to do that), take the microphone (yes, they are sometimes "opened scenes" of SLAM. Do you know the
SLAM? It is a music style. The objective is: if you have something to say, you have 5 minutes to do that ! You can read a poem,
singing, make a "RAP" or just talking ! Sometimes, they are too concerts and styles are very diffrents (music of the world,
electro music, rock music, latin music ...) Opened scenes" are free: you give what you want, what you can !
Concerts are not very expensive (maximum 10€) and sometimes, they are "aperitif-concerts", so it is free !
There is too theater of improvisation and other things too.

"Le Dock"
is an other place to listen music. It is not expensive (free or some euros), if you have friends who want to play music

and to give a concert, they can here ! My friends did that.

"La Bifurk" is a pooling of multidisciplinary associations around solidarity, exchange. In this place, you can listen music, see plays, many arts of street, make sport (BMX, skate ...) and many tother things. Prices are not expensive: it is often 5 or 6 euro maximum.

You like walking? See the mountains ! We are so lucky to be here because if we want to breathe, it is possible !
In winter, you can ski or just walk on the snow ! Around Grenoble, they are too lakes. There is too the fortress: "La Bastille" if you want to walk.

So I agree with Elodie fort the Park Paul-Mistral, they are many Squirrels and it is really so cute !
